grid lines make it tough to see text!!

when my laptop battery is unpluged my screen dims making it hard to read your site maybe make a couple of color schemes??

Thanks for the input on that, that is a good idea. I do have a skinning feature on my To Do list and when I get around to that project I will definitely make sure to include some simplified schemes that should be able to work on most platforms and browsers.
